Our Mission

Show Me Your Pitties Rescue is a dedicated dog rescue organization that champions the welfare of pit bull breeds. Our mission focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs in need. We aim to educate the public on responsible pet ownership and the importance of adopting rescue dogs. By fostering compassion and understanding, we strive to find loving forever homes for each and every pittie we care for. Join us in creating a safer and more loving environment for these amazing pets.

What We Do

Adoption Events

We host monthly adoption events featuring dogs ready to find their new homes. These events create opportunities for families and pets to connect and bond in a supportive atmosphere.

Community Outreach

Our outreach programs help educate the community on responsible pet ownership and promote the importance of spaying and neutering to help reduce overcrowding in shelters.

Foster Program

Our foster program allows dogs to live in a home environment while they await adoption. This experience helps reduce anxiety for the dogs and encourages their socialization and training.

Fundraising Campaigns

We run various campaigns to raise funds for veterinary care, food, and supplies needed for our rescues. Your support is essential to continue our lifesaving mission.

Chateau came to us with walls up. Quiet, cautious, unsure of what to trust.

Cheri is one of the most respected trainers in the game, and she saw exactly who Chateau was underneath the fear. She put in the work, and Chateau met her there. Week by week, he came out of his shell, found his confidence, and started showing us the dog he was always meant to be.

Wilson is a 6-year-old border collie mix who came into SEAACA quiet and gentle — a sweet, confused boy who didn’t understand why he was there. By the time we met him, he had already started to fade. Laying on hard concrete. Light gone from his eyes. Slowly giving up.

Tuba spent over a month in a shelter fighting an upper respiratory infection that wasn’t getting better. When the antibiotics stopped working, the shelter set a deadline. We pulled him just in time.

He’s safe now in a foster home in San Francisco, and his foster already says he’s sweet, gentle, and easy to love. But he still needs medical treatment before he can even be neutered, let alone find his forever family.

Chato a2252429 now Chateau

Chateau lost his owner, ended up in a shelter, and arrived carrying scars no one can fully explain. A volunteer pilot flew him to @cheri_wulff_lucas a behavioral specialist, so he could start learning to trust again.

When he got there, he was shut down. Pressed into the corner, too scared to look at anyone. Now he’ll walk up and sniff you. He’ll take treats from your hand. He’ll explore outside. For a dog who lost everything, that’s massive.

He’s not ready for a home yet. Still a flight risk, still learning people aren’t something to run from. But every day, he tries. Board and train with a specialist isn’t cheap, and Chateau needs to stay as long as it takes. Not on our timeline. On his.
